AAU Freestyle Judo Championship
I headed to Louisiana to compete at the 2015 AAU National Freestyle Judo Championship with absolutely no fanfare.
10 YEARS AGO TODAY — It is amazing how quickly a decade goes by! On a bit of a whim I headed to Louisiana to compete at the 2015 AAU National Freestyle Judo Championship with absolutely no fanfare. Here are a few pictures to remember that fun time!
It was an honor to interact quite a bit with Dr. AnnMaria De Mars, 1984 World Judo Champion (1st American to do so) and best known these days as the mother of Ronda Rousey.
I will forever be grateful to my brother from another mother, Master Robert E Robert who both flew to Louisiana for no reason other than to support and corner me on this side quest.
